Chetola Lodge

Guest rooms in Chetola Lodge either overlook Chetola Lake or the grounds of the resort.  All rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers and either a king bed or two queen beds.

The Bob Timberlake Inn

The Bob Timberlake Inn is connected to Timberlake’s Restaurant and features eight estate rooms, each named for a prominent local personality or a past owner of Chetola Estate. Rooms are decorated with Bob Timberlake artwork, furniture, and décor personally selected by the artist. Guests have access to a complimentary 24 hour pantry and private library.  Complimentary breakfast and wine and cheese reception is offered for all guests.

Chetola Condominiums

Chetola has 100 condominiums ranging in size from one to four bedrooms. These spacious units run anywhere from 800 to 3,000 square feet and sleep from 4 to 10 people.  Condos have an equal number of bedrooms and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, dining area and fireplace.

On-site activities include spa services, hair boutique, heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, fitness center, fitness classes, tennis courts, paddle boats, ping pong and more. Chetola is one of only two Orvis-endorsed fly-fishing lodges in North Carolina. Adventure activities include clay shooting, horseback riding, golf privileges, zip line packages and a variety of outdoor activities planned for the Chetola Sporting Club at Blue Ridge Mountain Club, scheduled to open in Summer, 2015.

Dining is available in Timberlake’s Restaurant. World-renowned North Carolina artist and designer Bob Timberlake, who is known for creating things of exceptional artistry, inspired the creation of Timberlake’s Restaurant at Chetola Resort. Located on the main level of the Bob Timberlake Inn in an elegantly restored 1846 Estate House, the restaurant features Bob Timberlake’s exquisite artwork and decor.  From Mesquite-dusted shrimp and mouth-watering Angus beef filets, to Carolina-raised trout and roasted Carolina quail, each dish is worth savoring. The chef and his staff also prepare an array of seafood, poultry, pork and an inspired selection of vegetarian dishes that will tempt palates of all tastes. Breakfast is served daily. Dinner reservations are recommended. Outstanding buffets or special dinner events are featured on Mother’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and during special events such as Symphony by the Lake. Lunch and dinner hours change seasonally.

Headwaters Pub

Grab a specialty cocktail, fine wines or one of many craft beers on tap in the charming Headwaters Pub, located just inside Timberlake’s main entrance. Lunch is offered seasonally in the Pub.
