We are the Shenandoah Valley’s most unique food service operation. Entering our 18th year, our goal has always been to offer the highest quality food and service to our customers at an affordable price. Our culinary philosophy is pride without pretension.

All of our foods are made from scratch using raw products; we bake our own breads and desserts, we smoke our meats purely over hickory, and hand cut our own steaks and seafood. Thus, we strive to provide a dining experience that has vanished in our fast food, chain restaurant environment- upscale southern cuisine.

Hank’s offers two locations: Hank’s Smokehouse Southern Grillery in McGaheysville , VA specializing in barbecue, ribs, steaks and seafood; and Hank’s Marketplace in the Dayton Farmer’s Market in Dayton , VA specializing in barbecue, soups, wraps and salads. In addition Hank’s Catering is a continually growing facet of our operation specializing in all events from barbecue to black tie. And we now offer our own line of Hank’s Smokehouse Sauces and Golden Cock Rubs available for purchase here in our online shopping store.
