The Frederick House

Frederick House is a twenty five room bed and breakfast hotel in historic downtown Staunton, Virginia, the oldest city in the Shenandoah Valley.  We are only a 40 minute drive from Wintergreen Resort.  This bed and breakfast is located, across from Mary Baldwin College, two blocks from Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library, and Blackfriars Playhouse, one of only two authentic Shakespeare theaters in the world.

Park at Frederick House and walk to shops, galleries, museums, wine tasting, and music venues, including folk, classical, jazz and bluegrass. Stop to enjoy homemade ice cream, gelato, sherbet, or homemade chocolate candy along the way.

Breakfast is served daily between 7:30 and 10:00 am. Sit at your table in Chumley’s Tearoom, select from our menu, and we will bring to your table our delicious homemade breakfast.

Aioli, the restaurant at Frederick House, serves Mediterranean Food and Tapas prepared for you by the chef. Said Rhafiri, was trained as a chef in Italy and comes to Staunton after being in some of the finest restaurants in Charlottesville. A private room is available at Aioli for birthday celebrations, reunions, or special events.
