Housed where generations of Nelson County children attended school from 1910-1939, this charming property features a true ‘Biergarten’, ponds, waterfalls, a working water wheel and tobacco barns which have been transformed into a boutique shopping village.
We have a playground area for the kids, featuring a bounce house, an airplane teeter totter and a play house. We’re also dog friendly for friendly dogs!
Our menu is sure to please even the most discriminating palette, including Vegan and Gluten Free options. Experience the delightful creations from our kitchen using fresh, local meats and produce paired with a broad selection of hand crafted beers by our talented Brew Master Danny or choose from a wide selection of wine and liquor.
Dining options include year round porch seating, our lively sports bar and seasonal outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is available in both the Biergarten under large elm trees and umbrellas and we also have a covered patio. Both areas offer wonderful views and a ‘cool’ outdoor experience.
Our Sports Bar offers a 10 foot projection screen as well as two additional 55 inch TV’s. The atmosphere is rustic and casual.
